My new book, I Dare You, will now be released on June 26, 2015! I'm very excited about this and I hope you are too! Please, feel free to spread the word about the new release date! I can't wait to share with you all what God has been teaching me through this book.
May God bless you today! On this beautiful Father's Day, I had to write a short message to my own daddy.
My dad is one of the most amazing blessings God has given me. Although, he is technically my step-father, he is the only "daddy" I have ever known and the best one at that. It takes someone special to be a dad and that's exactly what my dad is--someone special. I was almost fourteen years old when God gave me my dad. He makes me laugh, he listens to me, he encourages me, he teases me, and he shows me an example of my Heavenly Father. I want to thank him today for all he has done for me and wish him the best Father's Day in the world. A father is a special person in your life and I have been blessed to have my dad for the past four and a half years. On a different note, I know there are those of you reading this who maybe don't have a father in their life or who have been hurt deeply by their father. My heart aches for you and I feel your pain in my heart. But today I wanted to encourage you with a truth that encouraged me so many times growing up when I didn't have a father... God is your perfect Heavenly Father. He loves you more than you will ever be able to comprehend and He will never let you down or disappoint you. He weeps with you when you are crying and He catches all your tears. He knows you inside and out and loves you just the same. He is perfect in every way and will always be there for you, to catch you when you are falling. I encourage you to cling to that truth today and remember that your Father is the King of kings. You are His daughter or His son. Rejoice in such an amazing truth! He is our perfect Daddy! And one more note to my dad: I love you so much. ♥ "I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." ~2 Corinthians 6:18 (NKJV) Good morning, dear readers! Due to unforeseen circumstances, I Dare You will not release today as planned. I will keep you updated as soon as I know the new release date. I'm sorry for the delay, but hopefully it will be released very soon! :) Thank you for your patience and understanding. To stay updated on the new release date, keep checking my blog or my Facebook for more information.
Have a great day! I was thinking a lot today and I came across this verse in the Bible…
“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.” ~2 Corinthians 4:7-9 “Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” ~2 Corinthians 12:8-10 I don’t know about you, but I’m not perfect. And I’m so glad that I don’t have to be. We are saved and redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, not by anything that we do and most certainly not by how perfect we are. In our weakness, in the times we may fail or make mistakes, God’s strength shines through. God’s light and power shine through our failures and our weaknesses. So take heart and stop trying so hard to be perfect and keep it all together. It’s okay to mess up. It’s okay to make mistakes. It’s okay to not be perfect. You will hear lies inside your head and from the world telling you what you must do next to be “perfect.” But the world’s version of perfection is so overrated. We need to rest in God. He is ultimately perfect in every way. And He will make us complete and vessels to reveal His glory and power, if we will only let Him shine through our weaknesses and mistakes. Stop trying to avoid your weaknesses and hide them. Instead, hold your chin up high and rejoice that, through His power, God is making you stronger every day! Today is exactly one week until the release of my book, I Dare You. I couldn't be more excited! I'm so thrilled to be able to share with you the things God has taught me on my journey with Him. Following Jesus is an adventure like none other you will ever have and I wouldn't trade it for anything else in the world. He is my everything!
Since I Dare You will be released next Saturday I thought, why not give you a sneak peek? ;) Here is a short excerpt: Follow Jesus with all of your heart. Be recklessly, radically dedicated to following, obeying, and loving Him no matter what. Grab that notebook of yours and start to journal about the wonderful adventure God is leading you on. Write down the things He is asking you to do and the joy that comes after you do it. But if there's one thing I've learned about following Jesus wholeheartedly, it's this: Following Jesus wherever He leads you doesn't always mean geographically. Sometimes it means spiritually. God may or may not call you to pack up and move to Africa. He may or may not call you to follow Him to a different state. But He is calling you to follow Him. Follow Jesus today, dear readers. Feel free to comment and share with me a time when Jesus asked you to follow Him and you did it, even though it was hard. And stay connected with me via Facebook: Isabella Morganthal, to get more updates on I Dare You. :) Welcome to my blog! I thought the best way to start this blog was to start off with an introduction of who I am. :)
My name is Bella and I'm eighteen-years-old. I have been writing for about ten years now. My mom was the first person to encourage me to start writing. She told me that my first "book" I wrote when I was eight-years-old was amazing (and in my opinion, it was not). I am a writer because of her encouragement. Now, so many years later, my first self-published book is going to be released very soon. I Dare You: Finding your passion and lighting your world is set to release for sale on June 20, 2015 and I'm so excited. I Dare You is lessons God has taught me along my journey with Him, about what it means to know Him more and how He wants to use me to make a difference in this world. My hope is that my book will encourage you to know Jesus personally and then allow Him to use you to light your world. When I decided to begin a blog to go along with the release of my book, I thought long and hard about what I wanted the name of my blog to be. Some of you may wonder what "Worth it All" means. The reason I chose "Worth it All" for the title of my blog is simple. No matter what I go through in life for the sake of Jesus Christ, no matter what I suffer or what I have to give up, it will be worth it. Every struggle, every fear, every tear will all be worth it to me, because of one simple reason. Jesus is worth it. He is worth it all and there is no trial too great that His deep, unending love can't carry me through it. I will sacrifice whatever I must to follow Him, and in the end when I hear Him say "Well done, my good and faithful servant," it will be worth it. Through my blog I would like to share with you lessons God is teaching me along my journey, my adventure with Him. Perhaps through my own story, you will find the courage to risk everything for Jesus. Perhaps you will find the strength to count everything else as loss compared to Him. Perhaps you will realize in your heart that Jesus is worth it all to you too. Thank you for visiting my blog. I'll be writing more in the coming days, counting down to my book release. May God bless you and may you live for Him today. He is worth it all, Bella "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." ~Romans 8:37-39~ |
